We have upgraded…

… to Word Press 2.5. It has an all-new Dashboard, which is what they call the admin interface. It’s not terribly exciting, as you can see. Well, you probably can’t, but take my word for it. That said, it is a relief to see something different finally. I was heartily sick of the previous Dashboard, but too lazy to do anything about it.

Anyhow, to cut a long story short, the upgrade went smoothly and everything seems to be working fine, plugins included. Some of the bells and whistles are a little off in Opera, which could be a bit of a problem. I also think it’ll take me a while to figure out where everything is… *sigh*

Sunset: New Word Press Theme

Sunset WP ThemeA Word Press theme of my web template Sunset is now available, thanks to Leland at ThemeLab.com.

Sunset is a simple design, and makes for a WP theme with no sidebar, so no widgets. It has a dark background, but with a lighter text area. Check out a live demo or just go ahead and download.

While you are free to use as you wish, please retain the credits. And don’t forget to let me know what you think.

32 not out

Jan002Does two years make a tradition? Well, I don’t know, but it’s certainly a start.

So, I have a little tradition of my own—where I make a special template every year on my birthday. Not that there’s anything special about it—and I must admit to it being a little childish!—apart from being released on my birthday…

Here we are then: view Jan 002; download it..

It’s public domain, and you’re free to use it as you wish. All I ask is for a link back to me (you don’t have to, but it will make me feel warm and fuzzy inside if you do). Do drop me a mail or leave a comment if you like Jan 002 or use it, or even have any suggestions about improving it.
