Okay, so what we have in common are the obsessions with Enid Blytons, Buffy, the X-Files, and Brit detective fiction (btw, do read the wonderful Martin Beck series by Maj Sjowall and Per Wahloo, which are being reprinted after ages – they pretty much began the police procedurals, and Martin Beck served as inspiration for the whole notion of the disturbed, self-destructive, imperfect detective cop). I don’t agree with you when you say you wouldn’t want children reading Enid Blytons, though – I think there is still a lot they can get out of these books – but we’ll discuss that later!

I love Scully more too – and here’s one good reason for being hooked on to Buffy – SPIKE.

hello there- returning the visit, i’ve been pretty lazy on the blog front unfortunately. but good to see you have plenty to say, as usual… I loved the Five Find-Outers, Remington Steele (ah! Brosnan), X-Files (they are coming out with a new movie soon) and Star Trek (the one with Captain Jean-Luc Piccard). now i just see Top Chef re-runs on youtube.

Well, some of these things I’m familiar with, and some not, but it’s interesting to see how things have followed along! I sense a pattern.
