One lake wonder!
How many lakes are there in the Lake District?
Five? Ten? A few dozen? Believe it or not, just one—Bassenthwaite Lake!
Well, actually, it might be nitpicking of a high order. The truth is, there a number of ‘water bodies’, but only one officially named ‘Lake’. The others are all ‘meres’ or ‘waters’, like Windermere, Buttermere, Derwent Water, Crummock Water!
So now you know!
(By the way, I have plenty of lovely pictures of the above. Stay tuned!)

I like the name, “Crummock Water” best out of those.
You call that an update?!
*huffs off*
knew you would be updating atleast once before you got back
@Kat: I like Windermere best!
@Marie: Well… cut me some slack. I’m technically on holiday! and with the latest happenings in London, I wonder if I’ll actually be able to board my flight!
@Alpana: And pray where are you? In the US?! Ha ha…
