Each time a birthday comes by, it is tempting to sit back and take a look at where you’re going. Or maybe I am just showing my age! Age or not, I love presents, but this time I thought I should give something instead. Thus, Party came into being, all yours, to do whatever you want with it.
When I turned 30 last year, I went around asking a number of people if they had any goals for when they reached that particular landmark. It was amazing to find plenty of people so clear on what they want, right from “getting my degree, getting hitched and having a baby” (Marie) and “finding love and making a 3D game” (Niklas), to “I’d rather not say and tempt fate” (Priya, my sister)!
Well, this is my second year in my 30s. This time last year I was lamenting the fact that I had wasted my 20s and not done anything notable, with over a third of my life overβno, having a book published does not count as it just happened! Of course, 2006 was when one of my long-cherished dreams came true: of going to the Lake District.
About a week into my 32nd year, things already seem so different. Maybe I am growing up finally! π

Hey! Belated Happy Birthday! Hope you like wishes instead of a present π
it should say “finding MORE love” q-: I know you already love me, after all…
Oh, Payal! Make it your goal to grow old disgracefully! When you hit 60 its time to throw all dignity and reserve out the window and wear stilettos and mini-skirts, whilst copiously drink and smoking your brains out…
π That’s what I plan to do.
Hey, I thought I left a Happy Birthday here!
You did… only in the previous thread!
EEEEEEEEEP!
Or rather, OOOOOOOOOPS! I did it again!
Happy Growing older… one year ahead of me π
Sorry for not remembering on time – and am happy to admit it on the www – guess must be because I was away in mumbai…
Happy birthday again!
Ha! Caught you browsing my site! π
Of course… won’t I go to your site? (Eyes wide and blinks)
